Please welcome Dr. Tamra Montroy to Branson Dental.  Dr. Montroy is a graduate of The University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachlor of Science in Biology.  She is a recent graduate at The University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family. 

Dr. Montroy is the daughter of Dr. Branson and is married to her loving husband Mark.

Digital X-rays and Patient Viewing screens installed at both locations

With an ever changing technology, Dr. Branson has kept ahead of the times by installing digital x-ray, digital panoramic, and patient viewing screens in all operatory rooms at both locations.

In digital radiography, a sensor replaces the film normally used for traditional radiographs. The largest benefit of digital x-rays is the ability to computer-enhance the images, making them larger, clearer, or higher contrast at will. digital radiography cuts down on the time it takes to expose and process a series of intraoral films. There is no darkroom developing of the images, and the sensor can be moved about in the mouth more quickly than films, which must be exchanged for new ones for each shot.

With patient viewing screens, patients are now able to see their x-rays from the comfort of the patient chair.  The viewing screen is on a pivoting arm, which allows full range of motion so that the xray can be seen from almost anywhere in the room.

Dr. Branson now has three different ways that you can choose to whiten your teeth.  You can choose from Zoom!®, Sapphire whitening, or Day White Bleaching trays.
